Blue Summit Aerial Works is a professional aerial imaging company specializing in drone photography, cinematic video, and aerial documentation for commercial, real estate, construction, events, productions, and organizations.

We combine aviation experience, technical precision, creative composition, and careful planning to create imagery that serves a purpose. Every project is approached with safety, professionalism, and the client's vision in mind.

Blue Summit Aerial Works was founded by Chuck, who honorably served in the U.S. Air Force and has an extensive aviation background, including experience with C-17 aircraft in Charleston, South Carolina. He holds an FAA Remote Pilot Certificate with a Small UAS Rating under Part 107, a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics, and a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

The name Blue Summit reflects two places that continue to shape his perspective: the Mountain West of Colorado, from Denver to Aspen, and the open waters of the Lowcountry. Colorado remains a place he considers home and regularly returns to, while Charleston holds a special significance as where his military and aviation journey began.

Now back in Charleston, Blue Summit Aerial Works brings that experience to the Lowcountry full-time, while continuing to draw inspiration from both Colorado and the coast.
